Our Client requested a minimal white house, with striking sculptural features.

The proposal involved a side extension to the kitchen to create a kitchen diner and a general refurbishment throughout. The spaces were stripped back to the essentials, exposing the original floorboards and painting them white.

The ceiling of the side extension has a curved plasterboard ceiling to create drama through fairly little cost. Rather than bifold doors, the rear elevation has one large fixed pane of glass and a single door. The door is aligned through with the hallway to create a direct link to the garden from the house.
